My New Year!

It has been a great new year for me:) I've been keeping myself busy going out! LOL. Which I shouldn't be, as I'm not working currently. So where what have I been up to?

1. Starting to pick up tennis with dear and gerald and gerald's poly friends on Sundays.

2. Had bowling session with dear and his friends on one of the weekends.

3. Celebrated Andy Tan's birthday at Ting Yuan Steamboat.

4. Met up with Benedict before he flies to Melbourne to further his studies. Brought him to Saizeriya at Liang Court and dessert at Clark Quay.

5. Met up with Priya and Da Jie at Vivo for dinner at Thai Accent and dessert at Haagen Daaz.

6. Accompanying Joanne for hospital visits.

7. Accompanying Serene for job interviews.

8. Went prawning with Karen and her colleagues and had our BBQ prawns at Sin Ming.

9. Went back to my ex company to help out with unpacking with my sister.

10. As usual, band practice on every Sat and I've brought Gerald to join my band.

And future plans?

1. Going to Bangkok with Chun Min and Yiling from 23rd July- 26th July! Can't wait:)

2. Planning a trip with Karen and Swee Teng, probably in June:)

3. Planning a trip to JB with my parents and Matthew.

4. Needless to say, house visitings during CNY!:)

While, I am enjoying myself whenever I can before my nightmare with work starts! haha. I'm so looking forward to CNY!

I'm Tired!!!

Sigh..I'm finding it hard to keep up! Feel like giving up anytime.. There's always misunderstanding, miscommunication and unhappiness going around almost everyday. I don't see any happiness anymore. It just seems that we're just hanging around, just for the sake, of being together.

What do I want? What does he want? I really don't know!

I only feel sadness and unhappiness everyday. So why am I still hanging around? Well..this is something I really need to find out! Maybe someone out there can enlighten me!

I'm BACK!!

It's been ages since I've last blogged! Hmmm..so what have I been busy with?? Nothing actually! I've been jobless since end of July and am still looking for a job=x Wonder if I'm too choosy or the employers are being too choosy these days! Oh well! I can only pray hard that I'll get a job by January! Please help me pray hard too!!:)

Anyway, I have to thank dear for kind of supporting me for the time being. Or else, I don't think I would have survived until now! =x

As for now, I shall enjoy my freedom! Hanging out with my friends, dear and doing things that I enjoy:)

Updating my blog after 2 months of neglect!!

It has been a hectic month (May) for me! Went to watch a play with dear, worked OT because my company was involved in Audi Fashion Festival, celebrated my friend's 21st birthday, as well as another 2 friends' birthdays, met my secondary classmates as well as poly buddies, went for Mary Kay session invited by my housemate back in perth, got my DFS pass to go in DFS to check out some promo which was part of my work, had a family gathering to celebrate both Mother's day and Father's day, watched Night at the Museum 2 with my band friends and went for eye assessment with yiling and chun min (pei tee suppose to go, but she fell sick!!!) Oh, and of course, the usual meeting up with dear and brand practice on every Saturday!! Haha.. that sounded a handful of events right? I was practically out at least 3 times a week and dear has been nagging me for going out with my friends and kinda neglecting him=x oops! haha..I'll update with pictures soon!:)

Oh..and I can't wait for my Taiwan trip which will be happening next month as well as my eye lasik surgery which will be taking place end of next month! Have been spending way too much money!! I'll start to save again when I'm back=x

KTV @ Party World - 6/4/09

Me and Karen met after work on Monday to sing K! It's been a really long while since both of us been to K together! Really miss those times. Anyway, we went to Party World @ International Buidling. Went to 'tabao' some sushi and sausages for our dinner from Tangs Basement.

It was great fun and both of us were losing our voice at the end of the 4 hours singing! No joke man! But I don't mind going K again even though it's going to only both of us.

Outing with dear - 4/4/09

Went to dear's place as usual to wake him up!!=x And was expecting him to cook fried rice for me which he promised earlier, but his maid cooked for him instead. Minus point!! haha..Anyway, we headed out after lunch to the Cathay. Dear's Motorola phone has problems again...MOTOROLA SUCKS man. It's the second time he has to service his phone because of the camera. Instead of colour images, it's greyish images. Don't know what he did to his phone=x

And then, we had dinner at the Cathay basement. There was this chinese restaurant which was a little empty. Dear was having doubts on the food, but the food was actually not bad!:)

After that, went to PS to shop around. While I was heading with dear, my sandals broke!!=x and it was my favourite black sandals which I had for more than a year=x Therefore, had to buy a sandals to replace those. Manage to find a nice white sandals with coloured stones which both me and dear liked.

Catching up with Karen at Vivocity - 3/4/09

It was a last minute catching up with Karen and since I will be off from work early, decided to head down to Vivocity to find her. We went to Marche for dinner and was lucky we got there earlier, as the queue was so long about half an hour later. We bought Rosti with chicken cheese sausage, mushroom soup and caesar salad. Went back to our place and realize it was taken!! Was quite pissed as the waitress who served us earlier had put reserved for us, but someone else just took our seat. But at least, they found another nice corner for us so that at least when we talk, we could still hear one another=x Cause the whole place sounded like a marketplace!!

After dinner, went to a few stores to check out some stuff and later decided to sit just outside Marche where there were seats. It was nice just sitting there and talking about everything. It has been awhile since both of us actually sat down and talked about our personal lives and everything else.

Happy Birthday Dad - 29/03/09

It's my dad's 50th birthday! Decided to celebrate at Crowne Plaza Hotel which is located at T3. Was on the way out, when my dad realized that one of the tyre has been punctured. Went to the nearest petrol station for the gas pump. However, we were told by one of the staff that the tyre has been punctured badly by some nails or something sharp. And we had to wait for someone from SPC car maintenance shop to help us change to the spare tyre.

Finally, we can proceed to Chai Chee to pick up my grandparents to the lunch. The lunch was not too bad. And after lunch, we found out that there was some private sales for most of the branded goods for platinum visa holders. My mum has one and we were able to get in to have a look. While it wasn't a good idea cause i spent $300 plus on a coach bag with the original price tag of $500. There was a 30% discount for the bag. I don't know if it was on impulse but I've been using the bag for quite a far bit after that:)

And after that, we headed to Parkway Parade for shopping. Haven't been there for ages!! And surprise surprise! I didn't buy anything=x haha..I guess I've already spent too much for that day.

Anyway, chilled at Starbucks after that and it was home sweet home:)

Outing with Primary School Friends - 21/03/09

Met my primary school friends at Cityhall for lunch at New York New York. It was a really nice meet up. I get to meet my form teacher and the rest of the guys and girls whom we used to play hopscotch, zeropoint, catching, five stones and etc. It's just so weird to see everyone so big right now especially the guys!! lol..who used to be so small and short=x oops..haha..

But anyway, it was kinda a last minute decision to actually get something for my ex-form teacher. Halfway through our meals, Shu Sui and I went off to get something. Found a nice pearl pendant which comes with a necklace from SK. And also got a nice card for everyone to sign so that my ex-form teacher can remember all of us. But surprisingly, after more than 10 years, my teacher could still remember our names and faces!! Fantastic memory man!!:) That shows how naughty my class used to be!! haha..

But was glad my teacher liked the necklace we chose for her. And I was asked to wear the necklace for my teacher. Well, it was definitely a great meet up!! And we should do it more often.

Went out with dear to get my F480 last month. We bought the phone at Taka Singtel and went to chill at Spinelli @ Heeren. There wasn't any place we could go as it started pouring really heavily outside, so we're stuck at Spinelli and decided to take a few pictures with my new handphone:)

Last Sunday, dear bought me the Samsung F480!! :) So happy! Have been eyeing the phone for a awhile already..Dear actually heard me shrieking when I finally got my hands on the new phone=x haha..didn't know I was that excited man=x But poor dear was being ignored by me after that=x Cause I was too engrossed in playing with my phone then paying attention to him..But I guess he still managed to find some things to do while I was getting used to the new phone..But it was very nice of dear to find a place to sit down so that I can enjoy the new phone..Thank you dear!!:)

11th February - 6 months anniversary with dear!

I made a reservation at Plaza Brasserie@Parkroyal hotel. Went to Cityhall to meet dear after work. However, as usual, dear is late. But this time he didn't call to inform me that he'll be late. Was quite pissed with him. But after seeing that he got me a red rose with 'I Love You' in gold wordings on the petals, I got better=x haha..

The dinner spread was not bad. Had been there quite a few times with my family and am glad that dear enjoyed it:)

Valentine's Day!

Woke up really in the morning to get myself prepared and head to dear's place. Supposed to wake dear up, but he woke up when I was there. No fun=x We headed to Lot 1 NTUC to get some potatoes, mayo and bacon bits to prepare potato salad. Made dear prepare the salad while I had my Nasi Lemak for breakfast:)

We headed to Jennifer's place for lunch. Didn't know that Priya didn't bring her bf=x I think dear felt quite weird to be there as it was his first time meeting them. Anyway, Jennifer cooked a big pot of Japanese curry! Only managed to finish half the curry and potato salad=x Super full!! And dear Priya, bought a necklace for both me and Jennifer. Really nice of her!!:)

After lunch, dear and I went off first. We booked a room at Ibis hotel. It's a really good get away from all the couples and people out there. And the hotel room was really cosy and nice. By the way, the hotel is relatively new, therefore, the place felt really nice and comfortable.

We didn't planned anything for dinner, so just headed out to bugis street to hunt for food!! Got into this restaurant located just behind bugis village. We ordered pork knuckles..and it's really really nice man!! (can forget about dieting, the skin and meat is just so yummy!) And the portion, it's huge!! We were really full after the meal.

While, it wasn't a so called romantic Valentine's Day..but what it matters was the quality time we spent together on this very day..And as dear said, everyday is our Valentine's Day..totally agree!!!:) Love you always dear!!

7th day of CNY - Poly buddies came over to 'bai nian'

Alvin, Khairul and Joleen came over my place around 2 pm to 'bai nian':) Anyway, Alvin was suppose to get for me bubble milk tea as he was on his way to get some waffles for Khairul. But the milk tea was for my aunt actually. And when they arrived, the milk tea was half gone!! haha.. apparently, Khairul didn't know about it and he drank=x And I didn't tell dare tell my aunt anything..lol..

Anyway, they stayed for awhile before all of us head to Alvin's place to 'bai nian'. Alvin just got his Wii last month and so we had something to do..heh heh..I have to say Joleen is pro in running game man..her hands can shake damn fast la!! lol..it was damn funny seeing how each of us play..and i think Khairul took a video of me and Joleen playing the swimming game..It must be damn ugly=x To khairul: you better not post that in your blog or I'll kill you!! LOL..

And Alvin, being a gentleman as usual, wanted to send me over to my auntie's place as I'll be having my reunion dinner with my aunties and family, but my aunt's place was freaking near!! I think the whole ride was less than 1 min..lol!!

So dinner was at my first aunty's place and after that headed to my youngest aunt's place for dessert:)

Every year on the first day of CNY, my family and I have to go around visiting my relatives. This year was no exception. So we had to wake up early to prepare ourselves and have our early lunch before we set out. After visiting my grand aunties and grand uncle, I will end up at my grandma's place for dinner:)

After dinner, dear came over to 'bai nian'..And I think dear is getting along quite well with my dad..They can really talk non-stop!! haha..I bet they've talked for more than 2 hours..So next time I can just leave them alone to themselves..hehe..

Went to dear's place to 'bai nian'. Had steamboat with his family and after that went to chill at Lot 1 Mac Cafe.

I didn't want to go back to his place yet so we went walk walk around his area. We happen to come across the Senior Citizen's Corner and went to play with the equipment=x I was just plain bored..haha..

After that, dear brought me to take LRT( he forced me to=x) haha..cause I'm sua ku!!! Never taken a LRT before!!

Anyway, interesting experience for me especially to find out that the glass screen in the LRT will blur out so that residents get their privacy when the LRT passes along their corridor. Thanks dear~!:)

6th day of CNY - City Alive! 2009

After leaving my granny's place, asked my dad to drop me at AMK mrt. Headed down to Cityhall to meet dear. We went for the largest street party event along St Andrew's Rd, City Alive 2009! It was held after the Chingay Parade. It has been quite some time since I went clubbing or any dance event. Pretty excited I have to say:)

Anyway, we reached about 9 when the event only starts half an hour later. But we took our time hanging out at Raffles City Starbucks and walking along the barricades when we came to a crowd of people watching a huge group of line dancers. I bet there were more than 200 of them!! 0.0 And there was this uncle and auntie dancing to the songs played for the line dancers. I have to say they're pro man!! The uncle was swinging the auntie all over the place..from above his shoulders, around his waist, above his head and in between his legs. I was watching with my jaws open man. It was pretty impressive!! (will upload the video once I get from dear)

And so we headed towards the street party event around 11 where we expect more crowds as well. Didn't know dear's friend will be at the re-entry side and actually gave us the re-entry bracelets. And to think we actually bought the tix-_- haha.. but we had to walk around first before we can go back to the re-entry point. So we decided to get some beer and food. Dear had another friend working at the beer stall and we got one free cup of beer!! haha..

After the drinks and food, we went back for the real party of 2009!!! However, we brought our cups of beer into the crowd of people and someone actually knocked on me and made me spill the beer on me:( Not a very good start..but everything went well after that as dear and I was enjoying the dance and music..DJ Sassy Pandez totally rocks!! Oh..and a photographer for the event actually approached me and dear for a photo for the event. Hope I do get to see it somewhere=x haha..

Had my CNY lunch with my colleagues at Long Beach Seafood Restaurant yesterday. There is one at Dempsey Hill, just around my office. So all of us walked there. We had a VIP room cause my boss frequent there!! Ordered a set lunch menu for 10 persons!! Not a very good idea as there were only 8 of us..so the food was too much!! :S

Anyway, let me tell you what I had. The first dish was the cold lobster!! The lobster head was still moving when it arrived at our table!! :S But it's really nice with the wasabi and there was alaskan crab too!! First time eating alaskan crab and I have to say..it's really good!! YUMMY!!

Dear gave me a morning call so that I can prepare myself to head out to meet him at Toa Payoh Interchange. And I made dear wear his pink flowery top to match me:) haha..I got this pink dress for CNY..

Anyway, I went with dear to his boss's place (felt kind of awkard especially after realizing dear's the only one who brought his partner along)..His boss has a really adorable daughter [didn't manage to get a photo of her:( ] She would play with the mandarin oranges and place the oranges and paper bags on her head..haha..When we were leaving, she waved to her parents 'bye bye' instead and wanted to go off with us..when she saw us leaving and didn't bring her along..she cried!!!haha...so cute!!:)

After that, we headed back to Toa Payoh Interchange and headed to Swenson..And OMG!! I realized i had been having ice creams for the past few days!! Arghh!! All the fats accumulating in me=x

Headed out with dear to Suntec City again!!=x All because dear's watch isn't working very well...And had to return the watch to the shop for repair... So for the second time in 2 days, we walked along City Link and went into the Marvelous Cream store again=x This time round we had Mont Blanc. Have to say that the taste of the ice cream is quite interesting.

We had to wait for the watch to be repaired so headed over to Starbucks to have some drinks and food, while dear needed some 'refreshment'...haha...

However, in the end..dear still cannot have his watch back..cause there was some mechanical problems with the watch..something to do with the gear..I guess dear was quite disappointed as he couldn't wear his watch for CNY:( But anyway, had a great day with dear again:)

Ooops..haven't had the time to post any new entries.. Shall post a few entries=x Anyway, was suppose to meet 2 of dear's friend for dinner at Jurong Point's Kuishin Bo. But in the end, dear got pang seh by his fren's=x haha..so in the end, we went city hall to do some shopping:) On the way to Suntec City walking along the Citylink, there's this Japanese ice cream shop (I think it's called Marvelous Cream-let me know if i'm wrong=x) where they'll do the mixing of ice cream for you. They'll let you know who'll be doing your ice cream before they start:) Interesting eh..

Yesterday after work, went with Dear to Marina Barrage. Have been recommended by my buddy, Khai, to go there. Great recommendation indeed!!:) Me and dear liked the place alot. It's great for couples especially:) Saw 2 couples taking their wedding pictures there. So romantic!!!:) However, the wind was so strong!! And one of the poor bride couldn't stand to her feet as her dress was too short and if she does, it will be free show=x oops...

After that we ate steamboat at the 7th Storey Restaurant..they're suppose to be known for their chicken rice..will go there to try the next time round:) Anyway, both of us manage to finish up a 2-4 persons portion of food..LOL..

Farewell for my Marketing Manager...

Yesterday was my manager's last day. Ever since I started work in November, I first saw my Brand Manager leaving, and now my Marketing Manager has left as well:( As for the Marketing "Department", I'm the sole survivor!!!-_- Quite sad eh..all don't want to work with me..haha..but never mind, that means.. NO ONE will disturb me!!!=x So anyway, my boss treated my manager and the rest of the colleagues to lunch at Thai Village Restaurant just behind Goodwood Park Hotel. Listen to this: I had a WHOLE claypot of shark fins broth with mushroom and crab meat to myself!! There's freaking alot of shark fins man!!*drooling* LOL

After that, we had some chinese style lamb shank..Yummy!! Though have to say I think they probably added abit too much MSG..had to drink so much after back to office..And there was spinach with abalone, Crispy Prawns w/ White sauce and Thai style Tofu.

And guess how much the bill cost??? It's $1,230!!! That's my most expensive meal so far..Each of us ate $100 worth of lunch-_- Great lunch indeed!! And we were the last customers to leave...haha..spent more than 2 hours man..great slacking day at work for me..hehe..Oh ya..Thanks BOSS for the dinner!!!

Cycling...Here I come!!!=x

Yesterday after work went cycling with Chun Min and Yiling. We went all the way to Serangoon Garden man!! No joke right?? But actually we took the short cut through the HDB blocks..heh..Reach there less than half an hour!!:) However, on the way.. I almost fell off my bike, cause the pathway was super narrow and there was a lady and ah ma walking..although they let me pass thru, the pathyway was just way to small for me and my big bike to get through!! After that the lady shout out at me, ask me why ride a big bike when I am small in size-_- So pei seh la..luckily only my friends were around..

Rode all the way to Serangoon Garden and took a shortbreak and had a drink (Thanks Chun Min for the drink!!:)) before we set off again. This time we took the long way!! And there was this stupid upwards slope in the housing estate that was quite steep..Me and Chun Min seems to be struggling, while it seems so easy for Yiling la!!=x Anyway it was nice of them to cycle with me till I'm pretty near my place (though they head back after remembering that my house has a pretty steep slope up as well...haha=x) Pretty adventurous of us I have to say!! proud of us gals!! *grinning* But after all the fun, I am now suffering from butt and leg ache!! LOL..

My weekend....

Last Saturday, went to JB with dear and my parents. It's my parents first experience taking public transport to JB ( I have pampered parents) LOL! oops.. anyway, managed to get a pair of shoe for CNY:) And dear got me my jewel ear piece, thought it just looked cute but the sound system not bad sia!! Quite impressive!!=x Had dinner with my parents and started heading back to Singapore!!

Stayed overnight at dear's place on Saturday night and woke up only after lunch. There was some new year bazaar held near the function room in dear's condo. His neighbour, Voila, had set up a stall selling clothes and she happened to have a online shopping webbie. Next time can tell dear that I buy clothes through her webbie to support his neighbour! LOL..good excuse right? haha..Anyway, dear bought me some clothes from her at the bazzaar:) Thanks dear!!!:)

It's FRIDAY!

YAY! Finally the end of the week has come! Had lunch with all my colleagues today as my manager is giving us a treat. Went to the chicken rice stall located near Novena Square. The place was crazily filled with the office crowd. I had to sit near the toilet=x additional flavouring to my food! haha..Anyway, it was a bad idea wearing long sleeves today. It was freaking warm!!:S

And now after doing whatever I need to do at work, I'm acting busy blogging away!! LOL=x shhhhhh....just dun let my boss know that!! haha! Going to catch Red Cliff 2 with dear later!! It's going to be a freaking 2 hours and 24 mins long movie ( hope I can sit still..haha..knowing how restless I can be=x) I shall update soon.. Shall sign off here....ciao peeps!!

First blog in the year of 2009!

LOL! Since when was the last time I actually update my blog? Let me see..almost 3 years man! OMG! What have I been doing!! haha!! Anyway, things have been going pretty smoothly for me. Finally graduated from Curtin Uni on Feb 08! Started my first job at TTS Eurocars, selling Fiat cars. Met quite a few close friends whom I'm still keeping in touch, although I no longer worked there=x Worked with the company about 7 months.

Many things have happened when I was working there, lots of happening moments and also the BIGGEST mistake I've made in my life!But anyway, I've moved on and found someone whom I feel I will be with for the rest of my life:) Thank you so much lao gong! You really have unlimited patience for me and always being there for me:) Don't worry. I do not and will not forget the small little things that you've done for me (e.g prepared lunch for me and bring it all the way to my workplace and when I'm sick, you'll come to my place from work and bring me go see a doctor=P)

Anyway, it's a new year! So I have set a few new year resolution!!

First: I want to keep fit! Not diet hoh=x but FIT!! haha..i've been feeling very tired easily and having bad mood swings (poor dear have to 'tahan' my nonsense..oops..but thanks dear! MUACKS!)

Second: Get my driving license by the first half of the year!:)

Third: Set up a joint account with dear and make a point to save a certain amount of money for our future plans!:)

Fourth: Hopefully I get to see a pay rise! haha..then can save more for the future also.

I guess that's all for now:) I'll make a point to update my blog with pictures and stories to tell. haha..that's all folks!
